Not helpful. Should not have to throw out a year old appliance. This does not leave a good impression of your company or the quality of your products. I reported the problem to their Consumer Service and got the following reply:"Your unit is no longer under warranty according to the date code. I have often found that companies are eager to help customers who have found faults in their products (even if you have to pay).
We can still use the bake and timer. Please refer to your use and care manual for warranty terms and conditions"To which I replied:"Not a good response. Regardless of warranty or cost you could at least offer some assistance with your product. This is a clear exception and I would not want to buy from this company again. After having the product for about a year, the toaster stopped working.
A proof of purchase is required for a warranty exchange. I would definitely not choose another of your appliances based on this experience."I wanted to share this with others considering this product and company.
Even at the low price, this machine is not worth the money - you will pay more for the electricity it requires to bake a potato - over two hours. As far as I can tell, the convection part of the oven is only in someone's imagination.
it does eveything i was told it would do xcept it has to be a small pizza the only size that will work. i did not purchase this oven from amazon the seller backed out at the last minute,but i did get one from ebay. great item.
They toast everything well. No it's not perfect, but I wouldn't buy anything else. We have purchased many toaster ovens in our live, but th first and best we have always had are Black and Decker. The shelves are in the right positions.
It looks like it old and at a year and a half its Toast.Hope this review will save you money and aggrevation. This one just stopped toasting the top of the bread. My toaster just died after a year and a half of use. We had another Black and Decker toaster oven for over 10 years. Mine is white and quickly tarneshed even after repeated cleanings.
